Webcitizen is a company whose proposal is stimulating civic engagement and bringing citizens closer to one another and to their governments. Through an analysis of current and future virtual arenas and through the organization and optimization of information design and knowledge sharing tools, we can create a bridge between the physical and virtual worlds, helping government and non-government institutions understand the true needs of their citizens and consumers. WebCitizen focuses on using digital technologies to create participation channels, providing improved receptiveness, transparency and democracy for public administration and promoting a collaborative public dialogue with an accessible and significant sense of community, ultimately helping build a better world. Being a patron at TEDx São Paulo is actively participating in change, by sharing knowledge and studying new educational formats. It is our duty as citizens to discuss and practice transforming ideas. This is why it is such a pleasure to be a patron of TEDxSP.
Colmeia is a digital content and entertainment company. Our interactive projects based on the tripod storytelling-software-design have earned us multiple awards and international recognition. We work in association with advertising agencies on a project-to-project basis, developing content, entertainment, services, and interactivity and content platforms for companies such as Petrobras and Grupo Santander Brasil. Colmeia is in charge of shooting and editing all videos in TEDxSP.

Member of the International TED community and responsible for the licensing of TEDx São Paulo. After graduating and teaching at the UFMG's Social Media course, he has studied and worked at Fabrica -- Benetton’s center for media development, in Italy – where he developed jobs for World Food Program and World Health Organization In Brazil, he has worked with research and development for multinationals and is a co-founder of BUSK.com and WEBCITIZEN.com.br
Juliana Machado Ferreira
Member of the International TED community. In 2009, she spoke at TED, in Long Beach, about an innovative project: the creation of a lab that uses science to fight crimes against the wildlife. Its PhD in the USP Institute of Biosciences involves genetics studies in the fight against the illegal bird commerce in Brazil. As a biologist, she also works with the NGO SOS FAUNA (www.sosfauna.org).
Member of the international TED community. Has worked with interactive media projects for nine years. Currently at AgênciaClick, he is in charge of the creative strategy of brands such as FIAT, Nextel, SKY and SADIA. With over 30 national and international awards, including CannesLions and One Show NY, he lectures at various events in Brazil. Graduated in advertising, he has also studied at Instituto Europeo di Design, in Milan.
As a business manager and graduate student of organizational communications, she has operated in areas as diverse as financial, events, television, sports marketing, educational, and socio-cultural projects. Her specialty is helping connect investors and projects she considers as relevant to society.
Is 17 years old and translates TED documentation and presentations. Is about to take the entrance exam for college and dreams of retiring at 25 to spend the rest of his life travelling the world.
Has worked with publicity, content and entertainment since 1995. Was a marketing manager of BCP / Claro and a planning and interactivity director at Leo Burnett. After working at Margarida / Academia de Filmes, he founded Colmeia, a content and digital entertainment company. He also has projects focused on technology, education and services.
Designer and entrepreneur, he has worked for the last 10 years as an art director and creative director in advertisement agencies such as Thompson, McCamn, Youg&Rubicam and G2Brasil Matos Grey. Has created, with Bob Wolfenson, the magazines s/no and 55. He is currently setting up a company of branding and digital content projects, 55/Brands.
Works in the events segment, with its producer Atitude Cultural, and in developing new business, with Instituto Inovamente. He is also a volunteer at Gaia Education, a course of education in sustainability at Universidade Aberta do Meio Ambiente e da Cultura de Paz (UMAPAZ). He is graduating in advertising at Casper Libero college, and is a co-founder of the Juca university sports championship.
With a journalism degree from UFMG, she writes about behavior, sustainability and urban life. She currently works as a reporter at Vida Simples magazine and a co-author of blog O Guia Verde (www.oguiaverde.com), a guide of sustainable products and services in São Paulo.
Editorial director of Superinteressante – a magazine filled with ideas on technology, science, behavior and trends. With a degree in journalism from PUC São Paulo, he has worked at TV Bandeirantes and loves controversy at bars.
A journalist who has celebrated the recent non-obligation of the journalism diploma with the same passion she expresses for the end of the intellectual monopoly through digital technologies. This is probably why she works with WebCitizen in trying to create channels of participation through social media.
Marote has dedicated years and years to musical production, whether in albums for bands like Skank, international electronic projects such as Jamanta Crew or curatorship for events such as Motomix Novos Sons. His São Paulo-based studio is called Cabeça de Estopa and he is currently studying all the possibilities of modular synthesizers.
